First, my english is not good, if I have any grammar problems just ignore it. I think j4 is stong in early S5, he is good at early game and he can use his EQ to gank or escape. But in late game, if he build full tank items, he has no damage at all, if he build all damage items, that will become risky because he has no armor and magic resist. Now his W is useless espically in late game. I think now is a good time to buff him. I think we can change his W just like skarner. Here is my idea: W: Jarven gets a shiled base on his maximum health(10%/12%/14%/16%/18%) and slow down nearby enemies by 25%/30%/35%/40%/45%. If this change happen in the future, it will help jarven a lot. I trust demacia will never fall! Jarven will come back and become the strongest jungle in legue! ** Demacia!!!!!**

J4 is already perfectly fine. People just need to practice him. He's like Vayne. You need a lot of skill to play him.

His W is most definitely not useless; it's quite strong.

I gave the minimum and maximum values of the shield at each rank. assuming 0 and 5 nearby enemy champions respectively.

While you won't typically get 5 champions around you, you can frequently have 2 or 3 enemy champions within range during skirmishes and teamfights. The shield amount and the strength of the slow are nowhere near as weak as you seem to believe they are.

If anything, his E is probably his weakest spell. I'll typically just leave it at rank 1 and use it purely for the utility, maxing W second for the durability and slow.

While E has a lower cooldown, I primarily use it for utility (vision, drag, knockup); while getting the extra damage is nice, I'm willing to sacrifice it if it leaves the flag in a better position. The attack speed aura is nice, but I don't mind leaving it at it's rank 1 value.

I prefer to have a stronger shield during teamfights and ganks due to the increased slow amount and durability. In addition, its cooldown is significantly lowered when leveled up (20-12s) compared to the marginal decrease in E's cooldown (13-11s).

We may just have to agree to disagree on this. We seem to value the advantages differently and are unlikely to convince one-another.

He is currently still extremely powerful. I've always played him in the solo lane, and none of his nerfs ever affected him there.

I'm a little mad about his passive armour removal. My suggestion would be to bring back his passive armour, but have it on his W rather than his E, so if you want passive tankyness, you'd have to max his non-scaling defensive shield. It would make sense thematically too, unlike the flag armour.

Like I said though, Jarvan is still incredibly strong. He's in a good spot.

I have a recommendation on how to change Jarvan IV's W: Golden Aegis. A while back, Riot removed the passive armor he use to gain with his E: Demacian Standard. Instead of simply giving it back as a constant on his E, we put it on his W where it is situational and conditional in a reasonable way. This will make J4's jungling and teamfighting better. ** Golden Aegis** Active: Jarvan IV slows all nearby enemies for 2 seconds and shields himself for up to 5 seconds, increasing shield strength **and gaining armor **for each enemy champion or large monster affected by Golden Aegis.

Slow: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35% Shield Strength: 50 / 90 / 130 / 170 / 210 Additional Shield Strength Per Champion/Large Monster: 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 Armor Per Champion/Large Monster: 2 / 2.5 / 3 / 3.5 / 5

Tbh, they could remove the shield entirely and smack the bonus armour they took off his E onto W active. Shield on W is useless, I've only ever used it to slow people.
