Thresh Death Sentence + Wukong Decoy Possible Bug

As Thresh, I recently attempted to death sentence (q) a wukong as he had recently decoyed (w). I was very excited, because it was timed just right to snatch him as he exited stealth. Imagine my dismay when he de-stealthed and a split second later, my chain passed directly over him without hooking him. This is the first time I've come across this interaction, and have not duplicated it yet.
