Why are some players so rude?

Ok so I've had league for about six months. I am mainly playing normals right now I've reached level 30 and have enough champions to play ranked but I don't because my friend has told me even if you mess up once atleast one person will rage at you. Is this true because I actually wanted to start getting into ranked but, if I can't mess up even once I don't want to. ( I share this account with another family member so if they so or do anyrhing stupid on this account just put it in the comments )

You went into a ranked game with the attitude of "I don't care about winning, it's just a game. I'm here to have fun and do whatever I feel like." Your allies had every right to be upset with you.

I'm sorry my brother made that earlier post he was mad that he lost almost all of his ranked games on my account. When I woke up this morning I saw that he stayed up all night playing ranked and got my account to bronze 1 and that he posted this. I told him to knock it off and get off my account. Sorry for the inconvenience.
