. I would get completely MELTED by and he had zero Armor Pen items. He only had damage and crit items...I even had all my taunts and armor boosts going every fight....To me that feels VERY unbalanced.
EDIT: I just played and chased down a level 9 
while I was level 7 and just auto attacked him to death....it felt very unfair.
Ok sure but why2 votesThere are so many team comps that absolutely scream "Don't play Yi (Or other melee carries) against them"
But for the Full Armour build, Yi's true damage is flat instead of %max health, so building a lot of health is the way to die less quickly to him

Need Gold 4 Tent2 votesIf you stack too much armor and not enough hp vs Yi, you will get destroyed by his true damage (though crit Yi killing a full armor Rammus with thornmail and DBC sounds fishy as fuck).
Yi can kill tanks easy, but not crit build. Crit build (which sucks because every squishy now builds tabi) is a teamfighting build that can't really duel. His job is to do massive AoE damage by starting off with Q crit resets on squishies. On-hit with rageblade is a duelist god who only loses to Jax and Tryndamere but cannot teamfight due to rageblade taking forever to stack up. But on-hit will kill any Malphites and Rammuses who think their 450 armor means anything to Wuju Style double procs, and are also typically tanky enough to withstand thornmail reflect.
