Akali Tips/Changes 7.14

So I'm a relatively new player, but my brother is experienced and gave me very helpful tips on the game, so I guess I know what I'm doing as far as basic strategy goes (e.g. CS, laning, game phases, roaming, ganking, etc.) and I have found a champion I love to play as. She is the one and only Akali. So I looked on the internet for extra tips on her and all the posts on her were pre-season 5, before her changes. Does anyone have any tips for her in the current meta? I run her as a Tank Akali Top and the regular build for mid (Hextech Gunblade, Sorc Shoes, Lich Bane, etc.) So if anyone has tips for that in low elo for patch 7.14, let me know, I would love to hear tips!
