Morello mentioned that Aatrox needs a 'soft rework' 18 months ago

So I love Aatrox. He's my favorite champion and I main him and probably will continue to do so no matter what the meta dictates. That being said I do think he could use some love. Now I'm not going to pretend I know exactly how to balance him because I don't. I'm not a game developer I'll leave that choice to Riot. But I would like to get some info on it, especially with the Juggernaught update this patch. Aren't these all soft reworks? Why wasn't Aatrox included? I know he's a fighter/bruiser but at least some news from Riot on what direction they are thinking of going with him would be nice. The newest items are doing him some favours (namely the devourer enchantment and the Titanic Hydra) but they work just as well on other bruisers/tanks so I feel he is still in a similar spot to how he was before. I'm not asking for huge buffs (although a revert on the E nerfs would be nice), all I want is some information on wether he is still being worked on, and if he is where he is going. Will he still keep his sustain identity (I hope so thats my favortie part about him)? Will his scalings be adjusted, or his base stats? There have been a lot of posts namely on reddit (sorry I don't have a link at the moment but if you're really curious I can probably dig one up) that suggest the idea that he has an aura that buffs allies in some way as in accordance with is lore, is that a viable route for him?
