Can I have some placement advice :)?

Hey, thanks for taking a sec to check this out...

Foreword: I'm really sorry if this is in the wrong section, first post on the Forums...

So, I know we're in Pre-season and there is quite a bit of 'mystery' to how your rankings will affect 2017's season...

**Here's the scoop: **

I'm playing Support, doin' my business - getting assists, steppin' up to carry when the game got hard - I play a pretty aggressive support, I like to hand my ADC kills if possible :D.

My placement series looks like this:

• 10/10 games won

• 5 Games I get an S (one S-, three S, one S+)
• 4 Games I get an A (A couple +'s, one or two reg)
• 1 Game I get a B+ (didn't have time to rev it up as they FF@20)
• ...Where do I end up? BRONZE V and Confused.

I've heard from my buddies (who literally just placed during preseason, like this week)...they're getting like 6 wins, 4 losses, and their performance is around A on Average. Maybe an S one or two games.

• Gold III for one (7/3 wins)
• Silver II for another (6/4 wins)

...So kind of deflated at the screen that says...

"Your ranked climb begins at Bronze V."

I don't get how you can win 10/10...get an S - S+ on half, and A's pretty much on the rest... ...and yet end up at B5 Lol :(

Can someone who has a little understanding advise? I seem to be missing the ratio here of how it works, because I'm dumbfounded :/.
