Champion Mastery Level for Supports

I have come to love playing Braum support. His tanky builds and Q slows are great with a variety of ADC's that lead the charge to victory! But I feel the support roles are not getting that same love. I can very easily finish a game 3/1/20, 3 kills 1 death 20 assists, but my champion doesn't level as fast as say, somebody who carried middle, or top for the entire team. Even though I did not acquire as many kills, I still will have just as much assists. I am hoping that this can have a part into how Riot thinks about future patches for the Champion Masteries!
