For those of you who play Yasuo... also maybe help me?

Everyone has a 'most hated champion' and Yasuo is mine. Now, I'm not particularly the greatest at this game, so I find myself often pointing a curled finger at stuff that pisses me off (though, I am attempting to temper this habit); But Yasuo? No matter how much I look at this guy from every goddamn angle, (I even played him a bit) I just hate him with a fiery passion. Am I saying he's op? Eeeeeh, sort of. Am I saying he's easy to play? No not really, he's very difficult to master. Am I saying he gives me an aneurism whenever I lane against him? Fuck yes.

So quick rundown on why I hate him so:

-His passive gives him a 'get out of damage free card' every couple seconds (not as silly as malzahar's but still pretty dumb) -He has two passives, that basically doubles his crit chance (Because fuck you, and fuck me) -His q is... eh I don't care. It's a damage spell. -His wind wall.. this thing fucking triggers me whenever I play casters -His e: He basically gets 6 dashes every minion wave, and can avoid everything you throw at him. It's a challenge just to root the bastard -His ult... yeah no, I'm not even going there.

So those of you who have been aware of my forum posts know that they are often inspired by my (usually unreasonable) frustrations at the game. This is no different. Every time I enter the loading screen and see a Yasuo I dread the upcoming game. He's probably my least favorite champion to lane against, and my success when going against him is slim to nonexistent. So once again community, I implore you to help me fight this wind samurai. And though I have said that I hate those who played Yasuo (I didn't really mean it baby), wisdom from them will be greatly appreciated. Please help this poor scrub.

If you want help, just ask for it, don't tell people you hate them. It doesn't make them feel very inclined to give you advice.

yeh sorry about that. First bit was just incoherent rage. Not proud of it.

Erm, if you leave more specific details, I could help you a bit.

Best tips I can give for now is:

  1. Nothing tilts a yasuo more than having his passive procced the moment it comes up. Use them autos early on. At level 1, yasuo can't do anything but eat your damage. Use that valuable time and poke him down so he can't engage on you at level 3

  2. If you don't know if windwall is on cd or not, don't try to combo. Just slowly throw out spells and poke yasuo down till he has to windwall.

  3. Get a camp going. There is nothing shameful in needing gank so deal with a champ, especially one who is decently strong against mages/casters. Very few yasuo players actually know their limits, and they will constantly overextend.

  4. Don't run to your tower. If yasuo is coming at you, do not run straight down the lane into your tower. Chances are, there's a minion wave coming, and yasuo probably will dive you. Instead, run into your jungle, towards where your jungler is. Either yasuo will back off, or he will chase you into a nice 2v1.

  5. Yasuo's dash goes a certain distance. Learn that distance and aim your skills where he will be, and not where he is.

  6. Pay attention to his q stacks. You you wouldn't charge into an Annie with her stun up, would you? Same thing here. Only engage on yasuo after his tornado dissipates.

Hope this helps and I can answer specific questions if you post them :D
