The Blitz change is justified but

Perhaps we can buff the utility of it just a bit? It makes sense that it shouldn't be 30 seconds at rank 1, but now that's it's longer, can that silence duration get adjusted? As it stands 0.5 seconds is barely any room for using the silence portion strategically. The only use it has is interrupting channeled abilities that are already in use. If it's going to be 60 seconds the silence can be bumped to 1 or 1.5 for a bit more decision making into when to use your ultimate.

I don't think it would be fair because it would be a massive AoE silence 100% AP scaling spell. If Blitz ulted you then you would have no counterplay to his incoming pull/knockup depending on which order they used, in addition to it doing massive damage.

eh to me its half justified i know hes kinda strong but thats kinda all he has going for him i mean i wouldnt mind a dammage buff early game then lategame when it turns to a 20 seccond cd less damage.. or heck even a silence duration buff longer early and weaker lategame

Blitz ult as silence was mainly used as an interrupt silence. The short silence is pretty justified. You have to understand if Blitz has an ult with that long of a silence, most of his counters are no longer counters (Ez/Sivir). It would break him. You're asking for compensation buff but that buff would make him OP. There's no escaping Blitz just walking up to you and ult engaging every time.

You want a champ with chain cc and decent burst to have a longer AOE silence?

seems legit. sure.

I'd say it's due for a change because of what you said, but not in the direction you're hoping for. It should be like Kassadin Q or Viktor R - not a silence, but only a channel interrupt.
