Why do I feel like I'm getting worse by the second?

I feel like I'm becoming less useful, and all of my games are becoming more and more chaotic, if I take a break, I come back to lose another game, if I take a week or month break, I come back to lose the game. If I keep going, I'll lose 5 games and win 3 games. I've tried playing my mains, they don't work. I try playing OP champions, I just suck at them. I try to learn from streams, it seems to not work. I try to counter-pick my enemies, I still lose. I try to fill in the things my team needs, it doesn't work. I really want to climb the ranks and become a better player, but everything seems to be standing in my way. What do I do to improve?

I may be making assumptions, but here's what I can say: -Watching streams and copying pros is stupid. This does not help you improve. -Getting frustrated about losing is stupid. Just play the best you can and you will win some and lose some. The less you pay attention to numbers the less likely you are to make calm decisions instead of tilting hard. -Counter picking well takes lots of experience and a large pool of champs you are good at. Keep doing it. -Become a better player =/= climbing ranks. Sometimes matchmaking fucks you over. The more you play the more likely you are to be placed wherever you belong. -Play champs that are the most fun for you, not the most op champs. If these coincide though, of course that's great. Play champs you have experience with and really understand, not pick someone strong and follow basic build or whatever you saw on some stream. -Taking monthlong breaks is obviously not going to help you improve. But neither is playing too much. Personally, I get my daily win and then play something else most days but however you space it is up to you. Point is, taking long breaks for whatever reason doesn't really do anything for you.

Things you can probably do to improve: -Focus on objectives over kills. -Map awareness. -Play champs you have the most experience with and understand best. -Coordinate with team. Discuss plans etc.
