Please remove matchmaking adjustment

I play mostly team builder because I enjoy being able to choose my preferred role and focus on that rather than being forced to do something I don't enjoy, but I've noticed that the matchmaking adjustment system in place changes matchmaking for the worse in most cases. If I feel like I want to try something new (or in most cases, something I haven't done for a while to spice things up) I get matched with the special-needs class version of league.

I understand that the point of matchmaking adjustment is to make the player have less of a hard time while trying out something new, but what if I've actually played that champion before outside of team builder? is it really necessary to match me with incredibly toxic bronze players? Because I'd rather not have that at all, and that's what's happened every time I decided to pick something up, and then I have to suffer through like 10+ matches until my MMR seemingly returns to normal. As if the community wasn't toxic enough, adjustment just seems to be there to make sure I struggle through these games, I think it made things much harder and less enjoyable to me rather than making it work out better.

What does everyone else think? Have you had any experience with this matchmaking adjustment? I personally think it's the most unnecessary thing ever.

I don't like it. I've only done teambuilder twice and won both games, but the lanes were so uneven. Like I was an adc main and never played top and went top once, fed 7 kills in Lane but my adc got 14 kills and just carried harder. Obviously my top opponent should have been against the adc on my team (although I'd have been fine in any role other than top). The other game I believe I played adc and my mid laner fed his Lane opponent pretty badly (but had an OK kda due to roaming kills) and me and my top laner got fed in our lanes so we just shut down the mid laner. Again, their mid laner (and probably support or jungle) should have been matched against our top/me.

In any case, I've found teambuilder may have even teams but a large variation in each team resulting in a fed lanes going each way. This isn't nearly as fun as a more even overall match, so I just avoid teambuilder in general. It wouldn't surprise me if the adjustment is at fault.

I would agree.

The matchmaking adjustment seems to make finding games take a lot longer. Every champion I own I've played and when I get matchmaking adjustments it never helps me become better at that champion. To me, it really doesn't make a difference as far as I have noticed aside from the longer time it takes to find a match. I really don't see a point to this and I believe it should be removed.
