Champions who have been lost to new meta

Starting this board discussion off by talking about Azir. His range is less than a zed w, and he needs to be like an adc with his basic attacks. the less range and mobility for a champion, the less likely their survival. an azir w and q creates a problem as soon as his sand soldier dashes out, his basic attack range is pitiful. His e is pointless for damage if an enemy is close, and if he runs into anything he stops dead. When he is surrounded he is only left to flash or ult them away. His mobility is suffering, therefore his damage output suffers. Moving on to more meta champions, or champions who stay part of meta based on damage and variety of builds. Veigar is the perfect example of "it doesnt matter what you do" because you're the champion called Veigar. ad champions and tank champions have no choice but to build specifically MR for this champion, but when low health, nothing matters anymore. With the new champion Sylas coming out, this ap champion will join the group of over-powered ap champions without any nerfing. I remember seeing Pyke become some damage dealing monster, but he needs team fight confusion or enemies to clump together. This game is becoming incredibly strenuous.

I'd say the most busted champs right now in general are just about any champion with high burst that look to one shot (assassins and bursty bruisers with strong engage). With all the defense shredding options for items right now not even tanks are in the best position and it puts adc's in an even weaker position if they don't have a strong escape or disengage. Riot is changing up some of the items to be better suited for adc's now though and are buffing and reworking some adc's to give them some options against the current burst your opponent before they burst you meta.

Ad champions have more access to utility, compared to AP champions.
