Recent Champion Balance OMG OP!

I have been playing since the end of Season 1 and I am happy with the current champion balance. When I started there were trends that are not as aparent now. Some exceptions exist, but it shows through time that even the old champions are able to shine:

• Many new champions were more powerful than the original 40 and it pushed those older champions to the wayside, this is no longer the issue and can be signified with the recent OMG QQ and OP QQ threads. Please... tristana used to be a poor man's in season 1!
• Mobility, while in several kits, can be countered with less mobile champions
• The item selection has a bit more diversity than ball of stats, such as and

I believe there are a lot more directions we can go with the current game and I hope to see more.
