Lethality AND Armor Pen?

Do we really need to add more complexity to the game, can we please throw Lethality out the damn window? Let’s stick with Armor Pen and call it a day folks. Crit, Armor Pen, Attack Speed, Movement Speed, Magic Pen, Armor, Magic Resist, Mana, Health, Energy, AD, CD, Attack Distance, Mana Regen, Health Regen, Stacks, Buffs, Debuffs...RIOT!!!! Curate and Simplify. ALSO, bring back the crazy off meta builds of the old day and encourage the trolls.

I think we’re ignoring the larger issues players are having and that is the constant updates, the patch notes, buffs, nerfs, and having to take all those into account every time you face check into the game. There’s dedication, and then there’s micromanagement. At some point the game has to come to terms with some linearity.

There is no flat armor pen anymore, it was changed to lethality.

What I’m getting at is that Magic Pen, the AP counterpart, deals only in percentages based off AP and no other stat. Right? So why don’t they just base Armor Pen off of AD and call it a day, why create more ambiguity than you need to have?

We need +scuttlecrabhit and +Scuttlecrabcrit items as well if they plan on keeping Scuttle Crab Rift up in place of Summoner's Rift (Rip since 8.10).
