Revert Shiv Nerfs For Melee Champs?

@Meddler The last nerf shiv recieved was shiv lightning damage reduced and bonus damage to minions removed. From what I understand, this was to nerf adcs' pushing power. This was kind of a bummer for Tryndamere because you were forced to go the Tiamat build for efficient clearing. When the new crit items were released on PBE and i began to theory craft, I started thinking about shiv's potential for Tryndamere in patch 8.10. I thought of all the melee champs that took shiv the most, and all I could think of was Tryn, Yas, and Yi. To me, it didn't seem like the shiv nerf was meant for those three champs, so I thought would there be any harm in reverting the bonus damage to minions and making it only apply to melee champs? This would open a lot more flexibility for item builds, especially for tryn. I know that riot has said they want more builds for champs as long as their balanced, and I don't see how this change could dramatically change the meta.

Tryndamere jung has a 54% winrate and you want another buff. Shake my head!

I don't see why this is such a big issue for Tryndamere in particular.

He innately has critical chance, so he has a higher chance of getting Shiv to crit anyway, not to mention autos and crits lowering the cooldown on his E for more AoE damage.

Yasuo would probably still build PD anyway since Lament helps with how squishy he actually is.

Is Yi even played outside of the jungle? AFAIK, Shiv never even did bonus damage to monsters, only minions.
