Like the title says. I played all of my placements, won 9 of them and lost 1. Was placed bronze 5.
Why should I even try in placements if I literally get the worst rating possible.
According to na.op.gg I have a an MMR of 1,499 and says I'm likely to be placed in gold 5.
Could this be a placement bug like in preseason? This makes no sense.
In last year or year and a half for few reasons i started to believe that the matchmaking system and with it the ranked system is a fraud made by riot...or whoever owns them...manipulating with people's emotions to gain even more profit isnt a new thing in bussines world and people should be aware of it ...
Considering op.gg says you were in Bronze the past two seasons, this is nothing new. Back when I was bronze (season 2-3) I would always get placed in low bronze when winning a high amount of placements. Op.gg is also not really that actuate when trying to determine your MMR as that is a hidden thing by Riot and these third party sites are just using their own algorithms to calculate them. If you go to mine it's saying I'm in the 1700s which would place me in Gold 1 and I've only ever been as high as Gold 4. So... lololol to that one..
how could you even hope to be placed to gold when you ended the season in bronze
you are not placed higher than you were, almost never, especially that higher, you are placed lower than where you were

This crap needs to end. It's a ladder reset for a reason. If you were in bronze last season expect to be at the bottom of bronze again. You're not going to magically boost a whole tier and more because some algorithm believe it to be so. Riot has stated that these third party sites are not fully accurate on many occasions.
