Why are people happy Zed is disabled?

Zed can be dealt with sure, but having a break from dealing with him is only a bad thing if he is your main.

People hate having to buy or . Zed is so easy to deal with

Most of us are just joking, even if we have a good reason that varies from person to person.

Personally, I just think he's annoying. His ultimate can be counterbuilt/counterpicked, but not outplayed (which is annoying on both fronts, to both Zed and his target). My main gripe was his old popularity before the ult nerf, but I don't really hate the guy. I just like teasing him a little.

zeds lane is oppressive no matter what champion you play its extremely difficult to gank him and just survive the lane, he makes his opponent play compensatory all the time throughout all of the early game thanks to his high kill pressure 1v1, except for when he decides to roam.

and forget about harassment when he gets 1400+gold and buys his cutlass.

no champion just goes, hey, im going to use this to counter zed and mess him up.

the only saving grace is that zed cant dive in a team setting, so he just falls off when we all start grouping together.

im happy hes disabled because its one less ban for me to worry about.

He is rather balanced at the moment, but he is still annoying to deal with when the person knows what they are doing.

Abusive mechanics, free harass, better pushing power than most mages he goes against, and has no mana cost. Itemisation options against AD mids are still terrible. The champ is pretty much poison.
