Carry champs low elo

I'm gold 2 ( I know nothing amazing) on my main account and have another extra account I used a while back which is unfortunately in Bronze 4, I got into this elo on that account in January and just ditched it. I came back to the account a month ago and noticed that low elo players go under the ethos of Kills>Turrets, to compensate for this I was trying to think of a good champ that can push lanes and hold the team together as a whole, would Jax jungle be a good Idea?

Jax is a great pick however.... Even to some point in the mid, and even more so, the lower elo divisions its a numbers game with the people you have... "Do I have enough decent player to win, without ______? Do I have to many _____, to make it highly improbable to carry regardless of what is done?"

Its really sad but true... Good players are in bronze, but because of the numbers against them its very hard to climb. Sometimes it easy to carry because the mechanically skilled players in the game is low... other times their sheer numbers are hard to play against.

Now, to jax... Jax is a nice pick... however you are going to want to be a tad more greedy than other junglers.

Some fun choices might be:

MonkeyKing Mid or Top. High early damage lets you snowball your lane and your ultimate is great for roaming and teamfights.

Varus Mid. Great poke/siege and counter-engage. If people spend a lot of time dancing around objectives (dragon, mid tower, etc) without engaging, you can poke them extremely low. If you do engage, you can counter it.
