confused about ranked matchmaking

OK. so i don't post on here very often but i would genuinely like to know why in my last few ranked games i have been placed with an entire team of bronze players anywhere from bronze 1 to bronze 3 against a team that is a actually near my ranking, Silver 4. so anywhere between silver 5 to silver 2 or 3 etc.

Until my last few matches I had been on a small win streak, even got promoted into silver 4 on it. however my last few matches I've had team tear themselves apart flaming, that's fine it happens I understand, I've even played with team that genuinely tried to work together, which is amazing in and of itself. yet when you're placed against a team that is multiple divisions higher than most of your team. it stops feeling like a fair fight and more like a slaughter regardless of your team.

A little bit of this is a rant, it is quite frustrating to see your team communicating and trying to work together and just get demolished regardless what in the ranking system justifies that? is it my win streak? if so could i at least get a team at my level and go against players above said level?
