Why not do this:
- Champ is PreSelected
- Champ is banned by teammate
- PreSelect player has the option to "Dodge"
- If PreSelect player chooses to dodge, team gets a vote (any "group-queue" players count as only 1 vote)
-If the vote is "Yay", then the ban player is treated as a "dodge" (loss of LP, delayed next queue(?))
-If the vote is "Nay", then the PreSelect player is treated as a "dodge"
(In the event of a tie. game moves forward, you're stuck with whatever)
This should prevent one player from "going rogue", if they want to play something the team clearly knows they won't get (or don't want) then they can ban it. If the player feels it was only 1 person, then they can possibly get a lossless dodge and penalize the troll banner. If the player sees the full team does not support them playing the champ, they should not try to dodge, but if they do, it's the same as if they just did it anyway. If it's a group against a solo or groups against groups, vote will tie and you're stuck with whatever trolling you were gonna get anyway.
Since the player who had the champ banned has to proactively CHOOSE to call a dodge vote, they're no more subject to bullying than they are under the current system (since the penalty is the same). If you're the player who banned the champ, yes you can get hosed if everyone (non-premade) votes against you for the ban, but if you made a GOOD ban and the team doesn't understand that, then you were probably screwed/gonna lose anyway.
