often times, during the first minutes of the game, I realized my opponent usually hits lvl 6 before me, often times i'm 15-20 cs ahead of them.
how does xp work? i'm talking right at the start of the game, we both 0/0/0. no assists or kills, nothing.
they seem to hit 6 WAY before me. does exp vary per champion or maybe runes, or what? i'm confused.
Just because you've hit more of your CS doesn't mean you've gotten more exp. You get full exp for every minion that you're in range of when it dies. What's happening is that you are probably even in exp with them, and then when they get close to level 6 they start pushing the wave, so your minions die faster than theirs, and they get the exp from them before you have a chance to kill their wave.
