Tips for Vlad

As a new player with friends who have playing for years I kinda struggle to understand what I'm supposed to do with Vlad. It could be the fact that I come from the Smash community and haven't played a MOBA before. I thought that I would have a better grasp on this game at level 31. Please I would like any type of advice I want to be better at this game and enjoy it but Nasus is a bit of a bully in the top lane and I don't know how to stop him from getting so many stacks.

Your early game is weak, you should be doing everything in your power to try and transition out of it, CDR on Vlad is amazing and you want your CDR cap as soon as possible.

Vlad is one of the better champions against Nasus because if you play right, using your phase rush, you can make it so he never touches you. Try to maintain using your AAs for last hitting, which takes some practice because his ability to farm with his AAs is weak while off CD poking Nasus with your Q. Make sure to use your E sparingly especially early because of the rather significant chunk of HP it drains from you and only use it if you are 100% sure it will land on your opponent.

Everything else will just come from practice really, that said, best of luck, and hitting level 30 in this game isn't anywhere close to the real hallmark, that is just the beginning anything, but if you stick to it and keep striving, you will get it.

Well early levels you’re not very good so try not to fall for trades that don’t favor you, and try to make a secure gateway to mid game stompage. I like my first 3 items to be Kindlegem, Fiendish Codex, and sorcery boots giving me 40% cdr at level 12 or so. I like to get death cap second item if I’m fed and your main goal as Vlad is to not only get big hemoplagues but to make sure the enemy adc can’t play the game. Don’t use your W too often and you could hold empowered Q while casting E or in W pool. These are all things I like o do but for must of these they are preference. It all comes down to your skill level with the champion and there are many diamond and master level Vlad players with differing play styles!

Nasus is a hard champion to keep in check, especially when he buys Visage. Into Nasus you should always take ignite and just stay in the wave last hitting and bullying him

Really the only way to counter the item 3065 rush is to rush item 3165 or he'll just out sustain your damage after a while and after that he farms Q's for free. Vs Nasus I'd say:
