Bard lacks incisivity
I've been playing a lot of Bard since his release and while ofc I and most of ppl have still to figure him out I have built a solid opinion about him that it can most likely be shared by many others. I want to say first that I like Bard concept, theoretical kit and his lore so far and the only issue I find with him is the lack of impactful gameplay.

Doesn't matter who you face, in lane you get bullied and the advantage in exp your ADC gets from your roaming isn't a payoff. I've tried to do my best with swapping the roam and the lane presence just to find out that as soon as I stepped in anything could outdamage and "oututility" me. His stun and damage are minimal and don't give any sort of advantage if not for trying to secure a kill on which only the ADC could do something about. It's basically a 2vs1 in favor of enemies wether you are there or not.

Healing shrines are good early game if charged up but as soon as it gets into midgame they are only useful for the speed buff and the mana you have won't make them good for that too unless is a chase for the last hit.
-
His ultimate is too much doudle edged and situational to have the impact it should and while it has a huge outplay potential it is bound to be used in situations where each millisecond is crucial (and thus not reliable).

The only viable build is the Tanky CDR one, which I'm fine with, but still his endurance is minimal and he gets deleted no matter what if caught.

Build a
and Bard is done.
The main problem here is that Bard doesn't prove to be a treath no matter what. All other supports are dangerous in a way or the other be it damage, cc, heals, tankyness or any combination of those. Bard would be better as a neutral unkillable NPC that casts his spells at random while roaming along the map.
