Sup! I came back from s2 and lost my acct info, thought screw it and made a new acct and am lvl22 jungle main playing 3 junglers (yi, evelyn, nunu). I've been keeping track of my stats and playstyles using LOLsumo, op.gg, and blitzapp for games and post-games. the MMR says I have a solid plat level of play and am averaging diamond level play once in a while as well with these 3 characters. My #1 question is what should my placement range be? and since these are norm draft games does it end up effecting my rank in the future?

P.S. Looking for a potential team mainly for that atmosphere <3 so HMU if you got any ideas

New accounts will (supposedly) be placed in Iron.

If your MMR is actually as high as these third party sites are "guestimating" (there is no official MMR publicized, so any "guess" by these sites is their own third-party proprietary algorithm which is sometimes woefully inaccurate) then your LP gain per game will likely be high 20s and loss on loses will be low teens, which will help you quickly climb to a rank more representative of your skill.

That being said, your MMR likely is vastly overinflated for a couple reasons:

Low champion pool played
Playing champs which are much easier to win with in low MMRs
New accounts MMRs by their algorithms are almost always very incorrect (either low or high).
A not insignificant (but not super large) number of games duoed with the same people.

I wouldn't be surprised if you can climb to silver or so in a couple weeks, but I wouldn't expect more than that until you actually get to that MMR and play at it for a while. The rank of ranked players you're playing with has been averaging high bronze to low silver, so it's more likely your actual MMR is high bronze to maybe low silver, regardless of what Lolsumo is saying.

kewlio thanks my dood, I've heard many different arguments and this makes a lot of sense and I expect around bronze 1 as a start to where the place unranked but haven't been sure
