You had that swimming animation do AOE burst on a supposedly SINGLE TARGET assasin. Also the combo was EW Q Q to 100-0 sometimes you didnt even need the second q

Now combo is EW Q tiamat Q. But beeing a gold Reng wannabe player must be blinding your thoughts as to what is better and healthier.

Rengar's 8.3 Q was AOE burst that did much higher damage coupled with a free crit on his ultimate.

Rengar's 8.4 Q is an empowered auto with an attack speed buff, that has half the damage on a single target than Rengar's 8.3 Q did. Additionally, the guaranteed crit on ult was removed in exchange for a bit of armor shred.

Rengar does less damage in an instant overall, but he can now keep doing damage after he's already done with his combo, because of the attack speed. Overall, I think the 8.4 version is more fair both for the rengar and for his opponent, because while the damage cannot be dodged, there's room to get away after he's already hit you.
