Duo with a partner.

If you and your partner queue for your own pref role and theirs, since you are both GUARANTEED to have one of your two choices, you are guaranteed to have your first pick or be able to trade with your duo partner.

As a consequence of that being a valid tactic, I wonder if people who solo are statistically the most likely group to have their order of role preference skewed towards their secondary choice?

This doesn't work, tells you need more variety in your prefs before you can queue. And Honestly I have been getting my secondary role more times than my primary when I duo with someone, like three or four games in a row.

Don't complain when you do this to avoid playing support and end up in queue for 20 minutes waiting for one.
