Feeling Insecure as a support

I'm one of those players how find it hard being a main support. I just believe people like ADC's and junglers need to be more self aware about what pressure Support have to deal with and the guilt they feel when they see you their team mate die and then you the ADC or jungler, midlane or whatever blame the support because you didn't listen to a ping or a warning in chat. I just would like feed back on how adc's and supports feel about this and seeing the new champ spotlight on Kalista how they discuss how you and your support are linked or bounded together

IMO if you are a support, and you are warding, and you are not feeding, you are cool.

It just doesn't feel that way in soloqueue. Often times my support isn't interested in much other than their own success. That's fair enough, but it's really awful when you leave me 2v1ing to go help our already fed mid.

support = now a second jungler or a splitpusher with some1. itll depend on the elixir you get

Honestly all the comments are too long to actually read but IMO as a main support...

I used to think that too but then I realized that the way I play is not the way everyone else does. And even though that play method works really well for me, it makes me a stronger support to be able to adapt to all styles of gameplay. When I decided to do that I started winning a lot more games and rarely ever have people rag on me as support.

I main braum and i don't like kalista, because...

  1. there is no choice to accept the contract or not.

  2. she can pull you out of play without warning.

  3. while you get to decide where to go, sometimes i would rather cast my abilities than get pulled out of combat.

true example i'm braum, adc kalista- lucian ults, kalista pulls me out of combat, kalista dies because she is standing in the lucian ult, i get no choice to go anywhere because she died, i die to the lucian ult. if i had been able to put up my shield we both would have lived.

another example- defending turret i'm trying to put up my braum shield to avoid jayce/nidalee poke, kalista ults me, the poke lands on and kills our midlane apc, since i was trying to put up my shield i was clicking in the direction of their team and get plopped into the enemy team by her ult, i die and my team is now 3v5.

kalista is for adc's who don't trust their support to help on their own and feel they have to force their support to do something.
