I know its already pretty late into this season but whatever. So I was placed Silver 5 last season and stayed in silver 5 for the season because I played less than 30 games. And I get placed in bronze 5 and become a meme to my friends. Now the highest rank I've achieved in this season is Bronze 3 but It doesn't seem to last long due to the fact I just can't climb because I feel i'm always mismatched in terms of skill level. its very fucking annoying and tilts me off the face of the earth give me advice please i'm tired of deranking every time i hit bronze 3

If you can't climb out of bronze you are bronze, elo hell doesn't exist, sry.

no such thing. Matchmaking is designed to float you between 48-52% win rate. Youre going to get garbage teammates at every mmr to ensure you lose games.

Stop playing ranked if you dont want to deal with a matchmaking algorithm that guarentees you lose through no fault of your own.

I too believed that I was stuck in elo hell during season 7 since I had less than a 50% win rate and dropped from Silver 3 to Silver 4. It caused me to give up on ranked.

However, after I did some research, I realized that even though it could've been my team's fault, I was also at fault as well. I took the time to think on how I can improve myself.

Season 8 comes up, and I was able to climb from Silver 4 to Gold 4 within a course of 1 month while playing a max of 2-3 games in average per day (which is something since I'm not that hardcore of a ranked player). I took a long break, but about a week ago, I resumed my climb and I went from Gold 4 0LP to Gold 3 100LP by the moment I post this.

So essentially, elo hell is just a psychological thing. Doesn't really exist. You gotta ask yourself what you can improve on and how you can do much better in the upcoming games. If you did ask yourself that, then you may have been focusing on the wrong problem.

I did create a reddit post a couple months ago on personal tips for climbing out of Bronze/Silver to Gold. I can share if needed.

Good luck!

EDIT: 1 word grammar change. Yes I know my English ain't the best.

You have literally played 45 different champion in ranked this season. STOP. Focus on 3-4 and learning the basics of the game. Learning the basics willcget you out of low bronze

grind it out if you want it, if you are better than bronze 3 ull climb i swear

Well, I know you are better than me. So it's just a situation of mine.

I'm at Bronze4 70 LPs or so. My current win-rate is 70 - 80% with Shyvana jg. I can get + 13-16 LPs for winning. (- 22-23 LPs for losses)

your.gg estimates I could be Silver4 at the end of the season. your.gg/rawcarbogrin

I'm climbing with this. Of course, my friend list is filled with summoners I don't want to play with. 190 players are on the blacklist right now. I also check op.gg for dodging.

I've tried playing Annie/Ekko/Leblanc/Zoe mid, Quinn/Tryn/Sion top, and Sejuani/Evelynn. But my MMR seems to be too low to become Bronze3 with these champs. It's really a sad thing...

Some say Yi/WW/Xin are recommended for their fast clearing. But I just preferred Shyvana playing as bruiser somehow.

Shyvana also has a fast clearing speed, too.

Fast clearing enables you to do what you think should be done. If Bot/Top minions should be cleared at the mid game, you can do it instead of ADC/MID when you have all-mid teammates.

If you have to protect the mid tower ALONE, you can clear waves and wait for your teammates.

You can also help the lane control; If it's freezed and dagerous, then you can help some clearing. If the laner is in low health you can help push the minions for recalling. If the laner is recalling at the wrong timing, you can push the lane instead.

Barron bait; Basically you cannot "Barron bait" at Bronze. But you can "initiate" the battle. Your teammates tend to follow you if you start attacking enemies.

CSs; I know some smurfs. Their CS scores are 6-8/min. 6 is very low for a smurf!

What's my CS? 6.7/min AT MOST! Let's just accept the fact. I'm no good at CS efficiency. (This is how our game is ruined by smurfs.)

My view on Elo hell is... there should be various hells in Bronze and Diamond as Riot says. I do not doubt its existence at all. Or you just need to play more games:

Win Rate / Expected Number of Games to Climb One League 51% / 1800 55% / 360 60%/ 180 65% / 120 The Math of Climbing in League of Legends

Anyway, a higher winrate might not be the matter of your technique. You just have to choose the right champs. But it's a bit boring.

as a player who has climbed out of bronze 3 times, it can be annoying yes, but at least down in bronze you KNOW your oppoents will be bad. so even if they are fed, you can outplay them to a degree.

its much worse in silver becuase when you get bronze players on your team who havent got demoted yet, they silver player won't generally throw a lead they have like bronze players frequently do.

still takes time though.

my last time i climbed out from bronze 2 with a 16 stright game winrstreak as support Morgana , bronze players tend to ignore everything but fights.. so if u can pick somone off and at least turn the fight in your favor it helps a lot

you got a 65% winrate on yasuo man, just keep playin that

if it gets banned and you actually care about your rank, dodge

dodging loses you 5 (or is it 3?) LP and does not affect your MMR. so over a large sample size, it's actually a net gain of both LP and MMR

if it gets banned and you don't actually care about your rank, play a different champ or norms
