I am just trying to understand the most efficient build paths for some of the champs i play. Ill walk you through my thought process and please fix or adjust what i say lol.

First: Attack Speed based Adc's

Mainly talking about Trist and Vayne my two favorites. With vayne always brk rush into some kind of AS item usually shiv or phantom. I go shiv if my team is lacking wave clear, i am behind and would just like cheap items to be effective in teamfights, or i am ahead and feel i can end the game quickly. I literally only go PD if I am ahead but feel the game wont end soon or my entire team is early game and i need to be super strong late game. Then i go LW if they are tanky then IE or IE if they are not tanky followed by either BT if they have a lot of dive or LW if i feel safe. For trist this is all the same except IE first. After IE AS ITEM and then LW i pick between BT or brk. Brk if i have to 1 vs 1 for some reason, they are tanky or i feel like no one is diving me. BT if they are super squishy and i need the shield for dive.

Second: Mid lane

Ziggs: ziggs i always rush grail unless they are all AD. After grail I nearly always go ludens because I think pushing so hard with wave clear is op and i can stall the game out if i have late game champs on my team. After that if they are squish i go rab then rylais then void or if tanky i go void liandires and then rab.

Same basically goes for my Leblanc except second item ludens is rab if i am safe or zhonyas if i am endangered by like a zed or something.

3rd Bruiser Tanks:

Lee sin: If i want to get as tanky as possible after warrior sightstone what would i be? I figure randuins banshees warmogs if they have a pretty diverse team. What if they are all AD or SUPER AP reliant what is the absolute best items (not taking into account gold efficiency) for being as tanky as possible late game.

I am really confused about the tanky builds now. Like a regular champ like fizz top. If i wanted to build him full tank against an ad top ap mid tank jung and adc id go something like fronzen heart first (mana) then maybe randuins (health against ap but mainly armor against the rest of the team) then banshees because i dont need sv no healing effects then warmogs. Idk how dead mans plate or sunfire would ever be as efficnet tanky as randuins.

What if they are all ad and you want to play mundo and just go straight tank. what would you build in what order? please help?

ADC: pretty much, except I tend to build Bortk after IE and PD for Trist, but basically, pretty much what you're doing

AP: This is tricky because it bases on ur opponent and a lot of teamcomp. Grail is safe, but not the best option. Even on champs like Lux, Xerath, Ziggs, pokey ranged mages, I tend to go Morello to bring best offensive stats. My play style is kind of aggressive and not too laid-back on those poke champs so that's my preference. After that usually comes Rabadon & Hourglass, then luden and/or void. I only go Rylai-Liandry if they have 2-3+ tanks, but not really. assassin champs like LB, probably benefit more from Morell + Abyss than Grail.

Bruiser Tanks: _The same ideal build that never really expired would be one damage item then defensive follow-ups. What type of defensive items depend on your account to enemy's. _

Popular Top ADs are Riven, Wukong, Fiora, Yasuo, Irelia, GP, etc., I'd suggest if ur losing or going even but will be outscaled by damage, get a tanky item first like sunfire, randuin or frozen heart (nerfed but still the most effective in longterms).

Popular Top APs are Vladimir, Lulu, Ryze, Rumble, Diana, Kennen, etc. I'd suggest get a MR item first, proceed getting your damage item then finish it into something like banshee or visage. The idea is to survive, but if they're making ur life too miserable, then proceed defensive items. Set up a gank or two if they're way aggro. Ofc if your champion like AD Fizz top and other offensive ADs, you can get the most efficent item Hexdrinker.

Popular Top tankies: Maokai, Naut, Singed, some juggernauts, Nasus, Shen, etc. Get a damage item first then get defensive items based on team comps. They shouldn't be too much of a threat while in laning phase, so get some damage to scale and trade if necessary.

If you're winning the lane, you can just build 1 or maybe 2 offensive items. But this shouldn't be a problem since ur winning =]

for adcs damage> attack speed if you get bork get the cutlass before the re curve bow and go ie before pd or shiv i learned this early on then your build is very good since after you get that you can judge if they have armored tanks for lw or if you need sustain your builds fine

for ap id suggest starting morello 20% cd good ap easy build and good mana regen other than that id suggest rylais for people with no or low cc and good aoe that doesnt have a slow so people like karthus ahri even lb and kat over all tho judge your character since roa is better for mana hungry champs but 1250 can be alot all at once, also for auto attack including characters like ziggs fizz and diana id suggest both litch bane and nashors tooth but hey just suggestions

now for tanks this ones easy judge your opponents build and damage if your fighting a gp then randuins if your fighting a ryze top then get mr if your just fighting someone like garen id totally suggest dead mans plate and if its a ad/ad tank top ad mid with a ad jungle no doubt frozen heart but if you need hp plus mana quick then id suggest righteous glory. for a basic mana tank glory deadmans plate spirit visage randuins omen and banshees veil in that order with boots being your choice

thats how i roll find your own path learn what works since what works for me may not work for you experiment think of situations and decide whats better as long as you dont do stuff like ap gp or crittle fiddle everyone will be fine with your build hope i helped
