Insanely High Ping/ Unplayable

Ive been loading into a game of rift with about 49ms which is normal at my house. But my past three games about 4 minutes in my ping spikes to 300+ going all the way to 750 and it stays there the whole game. My internet speed isnt slow while this is happening and there are no other devices currently on my internet, so its not a problem with my network.. also someone in game said this happened to their teammate in the previous game. Please help!!!! I cant play the game like this and the lag only happens for League.

Eh it just means they are doing something with the servers. I usually sit around 15ms, but the past few days I've been randomly spiking over 100ms.

It happens. It will go away.
