Ranked 5s Provisionals

So in preseason we made a ranked team and now have completed 9 games and still don't have a rank? Does this always happen? We did this last year and after 5 games had a rank no problem. Im just looking for some answers if we will have a rank anytime soon because if it more fun climbing a ladder then being 7-2 or something and no rank. Thanks please let me know
