Are you allowed to play champions from different roles from a different lane in normals?

I had my LeBlanc banned in jungle because I asked for mid. I was fine playing her jungle but my normals team didnt want that so they banned her. I thought, well I saw a Yuumi jungle video and thought I wanted to play that. I wasn't toxic throughout the 15 minute game and I went AFK for about 1 minute as my grandmother wanted a photo or 2. I acutally did decently well with a 1/0/2 ratio even though I didn't farm too much as I was focused on ganks. Is this allowed because certainly my team didn't like it but I thought that this was allowed since it was normals. Thank you and have a nice day! Again, this was normals and I tried my hardest and did decently well.

That seems like it'd be better for blind. You still have an mmr in normal, so if you want to get better you need to raise your mmr. This will prepare you for higher level games in ranked. Going off meta can really rub people the wrong way when they're trying to get into better games where that kind of thing won't happen.

however the normal's game mode is where you can test ideas and tactics in a mostly worry free area, if anything make sure you communicate with your team who 90% of the time either wont listen or flame you because communication is part of the game

Normals have an mmr, and no one wants to get stuck in a garbage game.

it depends on the pick tbh.

when you take something that has very low chance of success into Norms then you need to be pretty proficient with that champ already.

Say the rest of your team have practiced their role and are at least some experience with the champs they've selected because on some level they are preparing themselves for Ranked. When you lock something Off-Meta, that's fine so long as you can actually play it already have knowledge of how you can contribute. If you are say a 1st time Leblanc or even if you have played her 20 times she is a really really difficult champion just because of her kit and how it works so the success of even locking her in her main role is already low because she is a very intense champ to learn. Then you put her in something like the JG where, tbh this is horrible, Leblanc can't really clear fast generally speaking and as a AP Assassin she is about going through her Rotation and killing things quickly, she has low hp and basically no armor so that means your effectiveness in the Jungle is going to be really difficult because you won't be able to clear the camps as fast as the opposing jg, which means you are behind big time and you won't be able to gank even if you do have a Assassin because you are so far behind.

Leblanc JG is one of those picks where you shouldn't do it ever unless you are playing some sort of Funnel Comp and you have a Team that is really trying to get you far ahead.

There's a big difference between Off-Meta and just Trolling. Nobody enjoys losing, nobody does; and it maybe something you should take into Bots if you are trying to play something that is super intensive like Leblanc especially if it's a Assassin JG let alone a AP Assassin Jg like that's a big ol Loss waiting to happen and it would've flat out been a loss.

Bots exist for Troll picks like that

You maybe trying to have fun but maybe there are ppl on your team who are trying to actually practice for something other than just fun.
