About Udyr changes in patch 7.8 and a suggestion. (Tiger stance was actually nerfed)
Before you read you must know that english is not my main language, so sorry with text sounds weird. I made an account in NA region and level up to 7 (with 200 ping) only to post here. I like NA boards, because people comment and argue more. In patch 7.8
Udyr’s Turtle Stance (W ability)was buffed. That was a good buff, even favoring tank
over AD oriented.
But his Tiger Stance (Q Ability) was a nerf that were meant to be buff. And i Can explain why was a nerf:
For the examples i’ll consider his Q ability on level 5.
Before patch 7.8 the damage was 230 + 160%AD over 2 seconds and every auto attack had 15% AD bonus physical Damage. After patch 7.8 the damage was lowered to 150 + 160% AD and the 15% AD on auto was removed. But now he aplies the 2s dot every third attack after the first. The Dots don’t stack, but refresh the duration.
So with 10 auto attacks: 1 2 3 4 5 6_ 7_ 8 9 10 the dot Will be aplied on attacks 1, 4, 7 and 10.
So
needs only 1,33 Attack Speed to keep the dot always aplied (Udyr can have it only with his base stats and attack speed from his Tiger stance). More attack speed than that Will not increase the dot damage.
Considering Udyr with 40% CDR (standard build) and 1,33 AS (enough to keep the dot active) and 10 auto attacks, that He would complete in 7.5s:
After patch 7.8 the damage is: 4 x 150 + 4 x 160%AD + 10 x 100% AD = 600 + 1640%AD.
Before patch 7.8 he also could apply the dot 4 times, because he has the Q ready. On first attack (0s) he have 3.6s to active Q again. 3.6s more to active again, and lasting 0.2s to apply again. So he could also apply the dot 4 times, resulting in: 4 x 230 + 4 x 160%AD + 10 x 100%AD + 10 x 15%AD = 920 + 1790%AD.
Even with only 3 dots applied: 3 x 230 + 3 x 160%AD + 10 x 100%AD + 10 x 15%AD = 690 + 1630%AD still doing more damage. Now considering 2.0 AS he Will complete 10 autos in 5s.
After patch 7.8 that means 3 Dots: 3 x 150 + 3 x 160%AD + 10 x 100%AD = 450 + 1480%AD Before patch 7.8, 2 Dots: 2 x 230 + 2 x 160%AD + 10 x 100%AD + 10 x 15%AD = 460 + 1470% AD (Its like even).
Perhaps now his Tiger stance do more damage with no CDR, but thats rare today, considering his standard build gives a lot of CDR, also many new items. But Udyr lost many of his initial burst. and we also with more attack speed, old tiger stance was better because of the 15% AD on hit.
And we need to consider that when
enters in a fight he need to switch stances:
When engage with Q, his target Will run away (kite, dash..)before he could reaply the dot, so he need to switch to bear stance. When losing a trade, he needs to switch to turtle stance. He also need to switch stances to keep his passive active (monkey ability). Now about the 15% AD removed from his auto attacks:

Udyr is a good splitpusher, because he is not great in team fights. Taht 15% AD was applied on turrets, so he lost many of his split pushing Power.

It was easy to last hiting minions under turret and in general for the top laner Udyr.

And as i showed before, he used to cause more damage, and its notable that the 15% AD was the big diference.
So what i suggest is that give back his 15% AD on hit on his auto attacks.
His power is focused in splitpushing and dueling, and he is weaker now because of that.
Udyr is not weak, but we have many options better and he was created to be a fighter and he is good at splitpushing (at least used to be). Please give back his Power. Reverting Tiger stance changes or giving him back his 15% AD on hit.
