Deep Terror Nami1 votesFrom what I've heard, harder matches (higher MMR average) are worth more, so no two placement matches are equal and your initial placements vary them so it can place you better.
DeathBurst1 votesWhen you start Ranked, you're considered to be around Silver 2-3. Being Bronze 1 at the end of placements is pretty bad (EDIT: if it's your first Season. With the partial reset between seasons, you can be placed in Bronze much more "easily".)
