Wondering what the community thoughts are on playing against Yasuo

This post has nothing to do with playing as Yasuo. I just wanted to get some ideas on what players think about playing against Yasuo. Personally, there's no champ I dislike playing against more. It has nothing to do with his strength, I just dislike every aspect of his kit when its on the other team. It creates more sodium than the Salty Spittoon.

As long as I can counterpick him, I'm set. If you cripple his lane phase, then he becomes as much of a liability as an unfed akali does.

Really? It always feels like win or lose to me, Yasuo is always relevant. If he's losing he still has possibly the best teamfighting ultimate in the game, and after static shiv and infinity edge, he could be 1-10 and still be relevant. But those are just my thoughts.

Possible best teamfighting ultimate? Compared to Malphite, Galio, Amumu, Fiddlesticks, Morganna, Azir, Leona, Orianna, Zyra, and plenty of others? Trust me, his ult is nowhere close to the top of that list.

I like vsing Yasuo because I tend to play all-iny bruisers. The vast majority of which shit all over him with little effort.

Depends on if you are melee or range oriented.

Melee: Yasuo = Additional Gold on top of CS

Ranged: Yasuo denies you CS gold with Wind Wall.

For those who really, really detest Yasuo. Pick Akali, and laugh as you negate his ult with smoke screen and 100-0 him as he panic flashes away.

Fun Fact, Wind Wall often will not block a point and click projectile if the Wall is not up by the time the projectile leaves the champion. (Likely due to latency issues)

What do you do if you don't enjoy playing as Akali?

I enjoy playing as Yasuo, so maybe that familiarity makes it easier for me to shut him down when I'm on the other side. I guess I neither like nor dislike playing against Yasuo. I find other champions like Tryndamere (just die already!), Fiora, Yi, and Fizz (untargetable) to be much more annoying to deal with.

I main Akali, with Yasuo being my 2nd favorite. I will pick pick yasuo into Akali only because I know how to shut her down so well. As Yasuo you need to go all in level 2, taking ignite, or exhaust if you wanna be a bit more passive. get a pink ward on your 2nd back and hope she doesn't get a roam off.

He's easily countered, just play some kind of anti-engage or an assassin with a better early game. Liss works extremely well, considering most of the time you can bait out the wind wall with your low cd q and your w/ult make it impossible for him to deal damage without landing his tornado first. Even then, once the duration of the knockup has expired it puts him directly in range of your entire combo, which he can't even block because none of your cc is a projectile. Zed works as well, he has a weaker laning phase but as long as you know how to cs under turret, you'll be fine. Bait him into ulting you as far up the lane as possible, and take exhaust. From there, as long as he isn't obscenely ahead and doesn't have a readily available escape in the form of a minion wave, you have plenty of time to proc more than enough bonus ult damage to kill him before he even has a chance at taking you down.

When I see a Yasuo picked I just go Annie and go to his lane. Then I farm me up a ragequit.

I like dueling with Yasuo. I have to consider my options and make my shots count.

Plus it's really funny when you shut him down late game in a duel because he couldn't land a knockup.
