Reds plz read: A note about DQ (no hate) and a possible solution

First off, it cannot be denied that there exist a group of players that dislike DQ.

Whether this group is the majority of the player base is besides the point. From a company standpoint, you guys try to make everyone happy and have to make do with making most people happy.

With this in mind I offer a solution: Add a solo ranked que.

Ranks would be the same, just that you would be able to rank up in two different ques.

Don't get rid of dynamic que, and keep the ranked 5s time slots... But add another q for just solo players (not even duo).

There is something beautiful about going into a match with 4 other players knowing that you have to work together to the best of your abilities vs another team who has to overcome the same obstacle.

This feeling is gone these days where you can get trio on your team who are in voice chat and don't bother communicating in-game with you or the other unlucky guy on your team.

This solution wouldn't fix boosting, but that has always been an issue. If boosted players q'd up in solo q it would be the same as they had in past years and they would eventually fall to their place or switch back to DQ with their friends.

Now if it really is a small amount of people that like solo q, you can always get rid of it again. At the same time though, there is a possibility that solo q will become more popular and the times for DQ will skyrocket... There is also the issue of no solo players q'ing for DQ and thus parties of 4 will have issues finding games...

I'm just asking that you give it a chance.

One thing I love about league is that it is ever-changing, always trying to improve for us, even if not everyone is pleased or realizes it. League could be a pay-to-win game, but it isn't. And reading through the forms and seeing reds interact with us gives a nice warm feeling in my heart.

I understand if this suggestion isn't tried, you guys have your reasons. I will be continuing to play and watch the game grow.
