ADC stuck between silver and a bronze place

For three seasons I’ve been in silver but this is the one season that I’d like to put in more effort to escape this elo. I main adc and hardly venture out to other roles but this may be the season that I play in another lane just to get out of silver. The games I lose, I usually have teammates feed and lose lane, resulting in 3-5 man ganks/dives bot. If that doesn’t happen, my support trolls, or simply the enemy bot lane has a better matchup (ie brand cait vs trist Janna). It takes so long to scale as adc that I feel useless or so dependent on other roles till the late game and by 20 minutes we’re usually ff’ing anyway. Is it possible to escape this elo as adc? Should I continue to focus my attention on improving in this role or swap roles and start from the bottom? If you made it this far I appreciate it, and appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
