ARAM sucks...

How is it that even though I don't have access to ALL the champions in this game, that I can play 2 ARAMs almost back to back and get the same shitty champ that I'm terrible with. Don't like my champ (Elise), reroll get one I'm not happy with, reroll again, and RIGHT THE FUCK BACK TO ELISE.... Decide to suck it up and try... Fail horribly, 2 games later, and I have NO rerolls, and who else do I get... Fucking Elise AGAIN.... This game mode isn't random, it's bullshit. We have an autofill protection in ranked, but yet there is no "same shitty champ" protection in ARAM... If you get one champion, you shouldn't HAVE to play them again within at least the next 5 games, free rerolls for champs you've played in the last 5 games, how is that concept so fucking hard?

If you're not constructive, or have the same view point, don't speak on a subject, Riot's "All Random" system sucks shit.

Maybe it sucks, doesn't mean you're not vastly exaggerating the issue. Calling them scumbags and saying "fuck you" isn't constructive either, stop being a baby about it.

In my last 12 ARAM games (all op.gg will go back to) I've had 12 different champions. It's seriously not even close to as bad as some of you people make it out to be.

Actually.... it is, your opinion is completely irrelevant, if I play 5 games and was going to be given Elise THREE of the FIVE times, that isn't random, and no amount of you citing stats of YOUR experience will change it. If I'm getting the same champion three times, it isn't random, fact, nothing you say or do changes that.

Maybe you're just not ARAM fiber.

While you are not likely to get the same result multiple times, it can still happen. The fact that it does happen does not mean it isn't random, as it's still working as intended.

I just played a 13th game with a 13th champion. If you really want to pull the "nothing you say will disprove what I'm saying" card you're just further being a baby.

ok... if what he says is irrelevant then whatever you say is even less relevant. Sorry but what you are saying it's nothing but your opinion. If you get to call others opinions or their own personal experiences as "irrelevant" then you instantly invalidate your own opinions and personal experiences. You can get the same picks over and over just like others will always get a different pick. That is the nature of RANDOMNESS. Roll a dice 50 times and tell me how many times did you get the same roll in a row. How many times did you get a different roll. Now do it again roll it 50 more times and answer the same questions. Now tell me what the difference was between the first set of 50 rolls and the 2nd set of 50 rolls. You won't because for some reason you think that your personal experience with something triumphs over the personal experience of others which is silly to say the least

Yes, ARAM champion 'selection' is random and thus luck based. Sometimes you have bad luck and get champion you are bad with several times in row, sometimes you are lucky and the opposite happens. That is why the R exists in ARAM. If you cannot stand the bad luck, you might want to stay away from the Abyss and leave it to the people who can find the fun from even the champions they are bad with.

Btw; every time you get into the lobby, you have the same chance to get champion X (Elise for example). The chance might be bigger for the free to play champions of the week (like Elise this week) but we do not know for sure, since we haven't seen the code which is used to determine the champions. Even if it might be more likely, people will have to live with that and most do so without complaints or rants.

Speaking of luck (whatever kind it is): I play ARAM practically every day, and I have had Zoe in my pool since the day she was released about three months ago. Yesterday I finally got to play her for the very first time (other than testing her couple of times the day I bought her in custom game mode). The results weren't pretty, but it was interesting and it gave me some ideas on how to play her 'the next time'. Btw; I am also one of those who cannot play Elise at all. Fortunately I haven't bought her, so I get the 'joy' of playing her only rarely - and usually I switch/reroll her away if I can. Keeping rerolls in reserve for those really bad champions might be worth considering, if you keep playing ARAMs. ;)

Maybe your champ pool is just too small and the few that you do own, others in aram own too?

Its completely random. 100% random. sometimes i will get blitzcrank like 4 times in 10 games (which is hella fun) and sometimes i will never see him.

Sounds like you have a small champ pool.

Cause lets put it this way. I have over 60 champs. This means that my chances of getting the same champ twice are pretty low. if you have fewer then that chance is higher
