So after a few games of trying Jax, I've noticed that most guides say to use AD marks. I can't really understand why they are better than AS marks when his passive is %AS increase and Ult passive would be activated more often if you were using AS marks. Anyone want to tell me why?
Its because pure AS is very very weak. BECAUSE you have innate AS you benefit from AD. If you had an AD steroid you would benefit more from AS (as an autoattacker, not a caster)
Theres an argument to be made for how his passive procs better with attack speed, but as a melee you can't keep it up enough for it to be efficient in the early game
Most everything works on Jax in some way. AD scales his ult. I'd suspect it also just gives the best last hits in lane, but if you wanted maximum damage you might be best with hybrid penentration marks.
