Is it too tedious for the casual players?

I'm not complaining but wanting to discuss climbing the elo ladder Since the new season started I had intensively played 82 games my question is, is it even possible for the casual players?

If the casual player can at most play ten games a week to play 80 games would be two months for them, even if they are as lucky as I'm they wouldn't be out of bronze.

This is like running a marathon. My brain is about to bleed from playing

To be blunt tryharding is pointles in ranked unless you are planning to achieve the following

1-become a streamer 2-get a ranked team 3-get better competition 4-content makeing

my only concern is some people might just give up entirely due to the time commitment it takes

I get your concerns, but what im saying is, I really don't see the point in try harding for ranked unless you are persueing some type of buisness in it, or you just happen to be a person who wants better competition.

What im saying is, their is no shame in doing normals.

Ranked=buisness Normals=casual play

Off-topic: Good hustle! Keep at it, you're doing well.

Question for discussion:

"Is it too tedious for the casual players?"

Even if it is.... so what?

Ranked Queue is the "ranked, competitive queue for League of Legends". Is it really a problem if the non-casual, competitive queue is not casual enough for the casual, non-competitive players?

You can be casual and competitive. Even people who don't care about how they stack up to other players or who don't care about improving for the sake of improvement are still compelled to get diamond or whatever because this community is a real dick to anyone that isn't some bullshit arbitrary rating platinum at the least. You don't need to be a professional to want to win your games.

I made it to Silver 5 from Bronze 4 in less than 100 games, but close enough lol. I doubt many people are playing 100 games in 4 days, so yes it takes a bit of dedication I suppose...

They want to make it a grind. It keeps random good players down so they can have their choice challengers at the top.

I did S3 and climbed from Silver to bronze (tons of afk players) back to Silver II for my first none bot games.

After that I was done with the crap players I was put with and feared dodging.

Just play Draft and tell yourself its Ranked. Im playing with Plat players in Solo Q and it feels good to know I can dodge if I think the game will piss me off.

consider the break down of how the tiers work out. Realize that over 50% of the people playing are bronze by design.
