Blind pick matchup inquiry

I am just curious about how the blind pick matchup is designed. I am a silver player and I find that it has been a long time that I've been queued with players silver or bronze and against gold opponents which makes me lost most of the games in the past months. I really feel desparate about the game now. Can anyone help me?

each different q type has its own mmr so even if you are bronze 5 you could be placed against the rank 1 challenger in a normals match if you have the same normals mmr

Pretty much this. High top elo players (masters+) likely rarely play norms, so when they do their mmr is trash and they face players like us who in turn get wrekt
