10 mana a level and 0.1 on a dead spell

Someone made a thread and got trolled by a forum botter so I'm posting it here:

Yeah that's going to take the most dumpstered character in the game (which is now somehow now labeled a hyper carry despite having lower output than ever). That 0.1 on the Q, wow, such change, much buff, 0.45 down from 0.8 from 0.9. That and the heavy nerfs on all base damage and every other spell certainly was what it takes to make a champion a hyper carry.

And excellent excuse in the patch notes, comparing her to Kassadin of all things.

This analysis shows what everyone knows, but it's worth seeing (I broke the link while editing, sorry, here it is back again properly): http://lolbuilder.net/news/how-bad-is-the-new-cassiopeia

Until some extremely heavy buffs (which won't happen because Riot never actually admit they're wrong despite saying the opposite like a catch-phrase) Cass is going to be in the dumpster.

All base damages nerfed heavily (100% nerfs ftw amirite), ratios practically removed, her only damaging spell starting at zero damage until maxed along with a 45 minute ramp-up time to become still weaker than she was before: HYPER CARRY!

I'm pretty sure that's why the new "GD" here lacks votes for the original post, to prevent those forum botters from trolling here as well.

And yes the stats shown in that link is what we already knew, but it fails to mention the higher the Elo goes the lower the win rate is. That is unless I missed that part, I just skimmed through it.

PS: You spelled your last name wrong, bro.

Sorry I accidentally broke the link while editing so people were being lead to a whole bunch of nothing, it's fixed now.

We won't see any buffs to Cass until they put someone in charge who understands what they're doing.

:\ It's pretty clear, to me, at least, by how bad the passive is and how much damage was removed that whoever is tuning it has no experience whatsoever. The incentives Aspect offers you aren't appealing outside of the sustain - which is basically unnoticeable in practice.

Until they actually address this huge fuck-up of a rework I'm basically taking a hiatus. There's no point trying to play her right now, and I don't really see the appeal if I can't fall back on a Cass game to have fun.

This patch is an insult to the plight of Cass players everywhere. It's almost as if they ignored all 200 pages of our feedback. A measly bonus on her mana-scaling doesn't solve ANY of her issues. The most you'll get out of this change are 2 more Twin Fangs at level 18.

Meanwhile her lanephase remains as horrendous as always since her spells cost FAR too much mana. You NEED to lower the damn costs and reduce the stack-cap on her passive, otherwise she'll NEVER be viable. It doesn't matter how fast you can spam your E if she doesn't have the mana for it.

Also they should at least consider adding scaling ratios to her Q and W, a ratio of 0.45 on her only form of poke is entirely insufficient and will make her lose against any counterpicks out there since she lacks the tools to weaken them beforehand.

Now we'll be forced to endure another couple of weeks with an entirely unplayable Cassiopeia. Way to go, Stashu.

I actually rather like the new Cass, just grab W and farm normally using that for the stacks until level two, then grab E and use W + E to farm, the mana recovery from E was more than enough for me to use, also the recommended is close to what I'd build. End game(this is with all my runes, items, skills max, and stacks at 400) I have 1040 AP as Cass, so E will restore 16(104) health per cast. Q does 235(364), W does 30(104) each second, E does 155(624) per cast, and ult does 350(520) damage. That was with previous stats(didn't include blue potion, that gave me 1111 AP) and the items I grabbed were Seraph's Embrace(Archangel's Staff), Sorcerer boots, Rabadon's Deathcap, Void Staff, Zhonya, and Rylai's. If anything, I think they should nerf her a little more because with the changes, I literally have infinite sustain.

Edit: Also, the stack cap is fair for endgame so long as other players do not impose on your farm. I typically reach max stats roughly 30-35 minutes.
