STOP PUTTING ME IN THE JUNGLE

Is it just me, or ever since every jungle main on the face of the rift quit playing jungle because of the recent changes, I've been getting auto-filled into the jungle like crazy. Its so frustrating, I don't like the jungle, I haven't felt comfortable jungling in ranked in months, I always queue up for bot lane and top lane, and yet I still get games where I'm thrown in the jungle fairly often. Is anyone else noticing this trend or am I just crazy from being tilted so much by this?

Well if they ever decide to revert the scuttle crab I'm sure a lot of the jungle mains will come back then you won't have to autofill in jungle. Just give it 8-10 years for riot to admit they were wrong and revert the change.

all the had to do was make it so any route EXCEPT buff camp buff hit you lvl 3

but no.. they have to completely fuck up the whole jungle

I think that if you play a game in a autofilled spot then for the next few games you have a “auto lock protection”. You also get it from playing a game as supp. I didn’t notice what you are noticing so...

It might also be good to practice other roles in normal games so if you get autofilled you are not completely useless

I played ADC/jg, but after the jungle changes i moved over to mid instead, but yeah, i get autofilled jg a bit. Just be able to play 1 jungle at least very well, just in case(for me it's Khazix )

Funny enough, I used to love Jungling K6 but he's typically banned for me, I've tried to pick up graves BECAUSE I keep getting autofilled and he's always picked too, so at this point I'm just mostly stuck with Dr. Mundo, who i typically play top. n_n

fucking LOVE mundo!!! You just get to run into the other team's base yelling "MUNDO GOES WHERE HE PLEASES!!!" But i find that i can't really pick kha jg to much, as we ALWAYS needs a tank. I suck at tank jungles so i just go over to Shivana just because i mained her in season 5 when sated was a thing. Ended up going like 17/2 so like 89% win rate on her before the season ended.

Try nocturne. Never gets banned, always strong, can be built several ways depending on your playstyle/your team comp.

Leave and restart Queue before you hit "estimated wait" If you want to go super save, leave/restart before ~1:25 (at least on EU-West/Platin this is the best time to restart). If you get invited AFTER this time chances are high that you will be autofilled. I do this and get first role 100% of games.

Being autofilled jungler is worst than autofilled support. At least in support role u still face a enemy opponent and you still know how to dodje spell. Playing jungle is a pain for first time jungler. Getting autofilled jungler make player scare to play early game champ and they rely all into late because they think that if they're doing bad, they could be useful at least in the end of the game (amumu,yi,seju.....) but into this first tower then roam meta playing a lategame champ is only compromising your team score and hard lose game because they outdamage/outlevel you. Usually I never play jungle but if this going to happen I usually play early champ and end up losing because idk how to snowball or either late game champ and lost game because enemy jungler is way better. Ps the worst moment in a jungler life is when your team get stomped and you fear not only their jungler camp but yours too.

I love it. As someone who's been playing fill for almost three seasons, it's always been a shit ton of supporting and occasionally going top or adc. This is a huge treat for me, although I'm not sure if I'll feel that way if getting filled as jungle becomes the norm for an entire season.

I was expecting jungle to be much more autofilled since the changes. I Left jungle/jungle myself for mid/bottom now. Problem is that jungle is really different from laners so it's really bad if you get autofilled there. There's some champions that are easy to transition if you feel insecure in the jungle. Pretty much those carry junglers that have a powerskipe at lvl6 but hard to invade. Rengar for example.

A friend is a jungle main. He puts Fill in as his role in ranked, because que times are faster and he always gets jungle that way. At least that's what he claims.

I have mained jungle for a long time (miss my old WW) and I started playing other roles because jungle just isn't fun right now. Jungle is already the most complex and difficult role and now it is just a free for all for whoever wants to invade. It is so easy now for a team to put a jungler behind and make them useless (minus the few duelers who thrive in this). On top of that you get flamed NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO! You can be pulling every objective, a positive KDA, and the second a laner loses 1 v 1 to their opponent it is somehow your fault. There is a lot of weight on you and it is really easy to F up.

So it is not surprising that it is going to end up the new autofill role. Right now jungling is just not fun. The problem is that it is probably the last role that should be autofilled. It is far too easy to abuse someone who does not know what they are doing and a good jungler then gets free reign on two jungles and can gank all day without risk.

The problem is that you cannot have jungle just be removed from autofill. The only way to fix it, is to make jungle less of a chore and more fun again so that junglers go back to the jungle. Personally I do not see a point in going back in when there are so few real viable options. Until season 8 you could play almost any champ in jungle and at least hold your own. THe meta right now is far too restrictive.
