I would love to see Shen get a rework or at least a rekit, he's seriously outdated being released 5 years ago. It be great to see him do more then dash once every 16-8 seconds, maybe add more mechanics to him. His kit is just very lacking in general, his q range is equivalent to Yasuo's q range, like WHAT? I'm not saying he's lacking to the point of you can't play him, of course if you know how to use his kit well you have a chance to beat your opponent but to my eyes his kit feels very lacking to the current meta. I feel that his ultimate should have a lower cast time then 3 seconds, around 2 seconds, by the time you ulted your teammate is probably dead or ran away already and if your ult gets cancelled I think the cooldown shouldn't be reset fully, maybe half because getting it cancelled and waiting another 3+ minutes is bull. I love this champion, have every single skin for him. Shen's really good in a highly coordinated team like the LCS but I would like to see him stand up for himself a bit more... He's not in immediate need of a rework but I would just like him to be talked upon, what's your guys opinions?

I do find it rather odd that half of his kit is that of a Fighter and the other half is that of a True Tank.

idk, mang. I've 1v1'd ADCs late game with Shen on multiple occasions, and I do really well with him

His kit actually works fine, it's just old but by no means bad unlike some of the champs who got a rework, he just needs buffs or tweaks here and there.

I could totally see that, I just feel like he's out of place as a champion due to his lore and kit. He's not bad at all, just doesn't fit with the rest imo...

I disagree, his kit I feel is lacking and he's a pretty good early game duelist but then other than that late game he shows no purpose other than his ultimate and taunts, nullifying two of his abilities.

He is nevertheless one of the best duelist throughout the entire game, it's just that during teamfight his Q and W really aren't all that useful, but that doesn't make him a bad tank per se you have to learn how to critically time your taunt or a mid fight ulti to save some arses.

But not all champ needs to be made for teamfights, Shen is pretty good at split pushing as well.

I feel any ADC could out duel Shen with any ability to kite or cancel aa's but hey I agree with the split pushing mechanic but what does his very poor shield have to do with it? I agree his kit is diverse and very interesting but it sure is out of place for the several "roles" he can play.

Compared to the rest of the champion roster that is out now, Shen is actually NOT very good at split pushing... Like at all...

His wave clear is terrible, even with sunfire cape. Olaf, Renekton, Darius, Shyvana, (need I keep going?) can ALL clear waves much faster. The only benefit Shen has in the split push game is his ultimate, which right now isn't near as strong as it used to be with the TP top lane meta, plus the occasional TP on mid lane. The TP spell as severely weakened the advantage of Shen's Ultimate. And Shen is only a good duelist early game. Still not a great one, but at least good. Late game, its only if your build is just right and if you are ahead.

Shen is old, its just a fact. He is not up with the current meta as far as tank's and top laners go. Even in the jungle, its situational at best, and still sub par.

Or he's just outdated and can basically just get murdered by an irelia or gnar with any basic knowledge or skill of the game.
