you realize the higher your ranked the less amount of people there are meaning that you will play people that are better than you
Why do people complain about "fair match-ups"?
If you're ranking, normal games versus diamond players, or any elo above yours should be what you want. You should want to and strive to be better than those players and you're given an opportunity to go against them and see what mistakes you make versus them. Don't complain about it because if Riot made every game GOLD V GOLD, PLAT V PLAY, etc you'd be complaining about queue times.
To be fair the fucked up normals matchmaking is what got me out of Bronze
