I hate smurfs. -.-

So my friend has decided to play LoL and I wanted to help them learn to play. I'm not a pro of any sort and I play for fun. I enjoy helping others learn so I made a smurf to assist them with learning the basics. However, I have found a lot of toxic smurfs who just make new accounts just to ruin new players day. It's pretty frustrating, honestly.

I'd love to see a Mentor option for players who have shown they're truly out to help others in the community. But as someone who plays for fun, trying to help others learn, I've found the low level smurf community is pretty detrimental to increasing the player base. When I see this behavior, I call it out. I also try to help the newer players in my match learn to play their champ or role better. Helping the adc's learn to last hit, the supports when to engage, when it's better to push an objective over chasing a kill, and how to properly get vision on the map.

-shrugs- I just needed to get this off my chest as it's been rather annoying to see a brand new player get called every name in the book just because they don't know how to counter-play Yi. Or because a Soraka doesn't know the best build. Etc. If I hadn't joined during S2 when the smurf community was pretty non-existent, I probably wouldn't have continued to play. This same behavior is the reason I left HoN after 3 games played.

i also hate players when i look up their profile, "end of season 4, plat 5, or gold 5, current rating silver 4, steadily falling from their old rank, haven't won a game since, and now im on a team with them".

i get these people.... all... the.... time....

and why did I lose, what did I do wrong.

It's kind of a messy subject. I'm not entirely against people making smurfs (not that I have any smurfs myself) because some people really do only want a clean slate in ranked. But I am very much opposed to players who smurf just so they can stomp new players and inflate their own egos (typically bronze-silver level players) who flame the actual new players for the crime of being new. It's honestly disgusting to think this happens enough that it's an actual problem that scares people away from really getting into this game.

It's just that there is no good solution to it if you ask me...

Well thats rare I have no problems when someone is new sadly most of the times i get ok i'll say it noobs they are determined to do things their way like going solo in enemy jungle or going after the dragon while letting the enemy destroy our turrets i have even seen rengar building full ap.....

It's just unfortunate in my eyes. New players who may actually be interested in getting into league are finding themselves pit against brand new champs like ekko who have these elaborate kits. I was lucky enough to be annie in mid. But bless the soul of whatever new player had to go against that. To someone starting out: Garen will charge at me, Annie will shoot me and stun me, Ashe will stay away and shoot me, Ryze will (uh, do things?). But then you have these higher tier players playing these confusing kits.

So not only do you get stomped, you don't know how to help it or get better. This all happening while getting torn down for being bad. I mean bots are okay, but when you're against real people from actual divisions who know the ins and outs, it's frustrating.
