Don't know if anyone has ever really tried it but presence of mind is a pretty decent rune. 2000-3000 mana restored in a game and minutes of ult refunded are pretty darn good. Also Predator is underutilized I think. Movement speed for getting back to lane (lower cooldown than tp), movement speed for getting in range for ults, movement speed for safety. Plus you get damage??!?
i bring predator whenever i play a mage jungle like tf or ryze, it make the funnest games to just run as mach 5 on tf and then gold card for the free kill
I still think presence of mind is weak because mana is extremely abundant in this game, making half of the rune not very useful. The other half is decent, but if you want shorter ult cooldowns you might as well utilize ultimate hunter.
Predator is the best keystone for Veigar mid atm. Let's you roam a lot and if you get to late game it adds up dmg on top of your R (R dmg calculates after predator and luden's dmg are applied.)
theer are runes like "ingenious hunter" which are very good but are in the complete wrong tree for anyone who woudl want to ever use them
