Buff tanks and nerf Mages/bruisers for toplaners

Hi,

I like to play top lane, the only problem these days is play the champs riot wants or lose your lane hard -> lose game. These days its just pick Aatrox (crits hurts like hell), Irelia (passif to stronk), Jax ( shure that stun was a hit), Darius ( damn the sheese pasif). There is no room to play off meta champs like a shen or sejuan top. (DONT forget the bigtime nerfed urgot)

Its even more frustrating that if you play these champs you can even come against a mage that builds full ap and stil destroys you against all the magic resist you build? same with the bruiser, they go full ad tank items doesnt do SHIT.

Its sad to see that this game looks way to hard at the pro players that is like 0.0000000000000000000000005% of the daily players. come down to low elo's and see what happens there. Dont bring in a new champ if the last one is still broken and the game needs more tweeks. No one wants a new champ, i want a balanced game.

So maybe someone of riot will see this and thinks -> damn he is right. Or just again a post that will be neglected and this game numbers will keep going down.

Look, I think you make some great points. Some of the champs you listed as offenders are actually overtuned right now, like jax, aatrox, and irelia, but why darius? cheese passive? sure. but unlike those other champs, as almost any tank you choose, you go on to outscale darius in teamfights, and since he's not a great split pushed, and actually relies on real tanks and other engagers for a good fight initiation, tanks have a real advantage over darius.

Like you do realize he actually loses a lot of lanes right now, right? And in my experience, maybe i'm just getting bad and tilted lately idk, but tanks have plenty of means of surviving lane without feeding the darius. Even champs like shen. Now you take someone like sej, well that's called truly getting counterpicked, but even then she's great at securing ganks with the jg against zero mobility darius.

And while you complain about offpicks like sej not being viable toplane, remember that champs like darius are viable literally no where else on the map against good opponents. Sure, you can go mid occasionally, but you can also take sej top occasionally. Sure you can take dar sup or adc or jg in bronze, maybe low silver, but he's a troll pick in those roles in higher elos.

So while some champs like aatrox and jax certainly are both oppressive and safe throughout most of the game, just be careful the other champs like darius who you drag into the equation. He literally only has damage, an aoe pull, and decent healing IF he lands Q. He's mostly only a decent split pusher AT BEST with triforce, and merely a decent teamfighter due to reliance on teammates and getting 5 stacks, which is far from a guarantee since he has trouble sticking to champs while chain cc'd and considering the excess of mobility in the game. Champs like jax are literally amazing duelists, have defensive steroids, are great split pushers, have amazing target access during teamfights, low cooldown mobility for escape and chase...like I don't see how anyone puts darius in the same category of cancer as jax.
