Besides the literal definition of ADC (castors,carry) , where Shyvanna can be one if she went attack damage, why does Mordekaiser get more cred as a botlaner in old meta than Jayce, Quinn, etc. Is it because of how they are built and played in that meta?

Kindred and the such, what defines something into the botlane for the majority of the community? What is special about Morde that isnt Yasuo Darius Graves Ezreal.
